Toogoolawah Swimming Pool Upgrade

Client: Somerset Regional Council

Location: Toogoolawah, QLD

This major refurbishment project transformed an ageing aquatic facility originally built in 1975 into a modern, accessible, and family-friendly community asset. The works involved the demolition of the existing 25-metre pool, wading pool, equipment sheds, and shade structures to make way for a completely new and enhanced aquatic environment.

Delivered as a design and construct project, the redevelopment includes a new 25-metre, eight-lane swimming pool featuring a balance tank and disabled access ramp, along with a new filtration, heating, and sanitation system to ensure optimal performance and water quality. The upgrade also includes new equipment storage, a new driveway, and a striking roof structure over the pool for year-round usability. Additional external works such as shade sails, picnic tables, and landscaping complete the revitalised space, creating a welcoming recreational hub for the community.
