Mundai Dja Social Housing

This very special Indigenous housing development was a vision decades in the making for the Kabi Kabi Aboriginal Corporation, and the team at Murphy Builders team were incredibly proud to be the builders bringing the vision to life.

Comprising of 18 thoughtfully designed one- and two-bedroom apartments, the project provided much needed accommodation for members of the Indigenous community in a central Sunshine Coast location. Owned by the Kabi Kabi Aboriginal Corporation and delivered in partnership with Coast2Bay Housing Group, this is the first project of its kind for Kabi Kabi Aboriginal Corporation.

Designed with connection in mind, the integration of private and shared outdoor living areas fosters a strong sense of community while providing residents with inviting green spaces and communal gathering areas.

Murphy Builders was honoured to work alongside the Kabi Kabi Aboriginal Corporation and Coast2Bay Housing Group in delivering Mundai Dja—a place that celebrates culture, connection, and community.
