The construction of a medical fit-out brought a distinct change to the face of a reputable dental surgery in the heart of Buderim. Murphy Builders working closely with Joe Adsett Architects Pty Ltd, cleverly designed a medical space that was made to suit as an extension to a vacant video store located next door.
Throughout the construction of this project, the client continued to operate out of the existing medical space. Regular noise evaluations were carried out to ensure all noise and vibrations emitted were managed in such a way that the construction activities did not impact patrons and staff attending the surgery.
Some of the construction methods used were installing a new concealed grid ceiling, an additional four dental rooms, a reception area, back of house for staff and a sterilization room. Clean clinical fixtures were used combined with natural timber joinery, finished with a special feature of Travertine wall tiles in the reception area.
Murphy Builders worked closely with the client to ensure all requirements were met, whilst ensuring that the construction of this project never slowed or delayed.
